We Won the Google Impact Challenge!
In late September, 2015 Google.org nominated us as one of ten high-impact, innovative non-profits in the Bay Area and invited us to compete in an IMPACT CHALLENGE. They promised to make a gift of $500,000 to us if we could get enough votes to place in the top four.
Thank to the extremely hard work of our staff, volunteers, partners, and supporters – over a grueling three week period we obtained tens of thousands of votes and placed second in the competition!
