At our June 21 gala, we exceeded our goal and raised $461,892 together! ????  This covers well over 175 families cases, and pushes us into the next decade of providing universal access to legal aid.

We believe poverty will be dramatically reduced when everyone has access to the law. Over the last decade, we’ve served over 3,200 clients and pioneered the first system of universal access to legal help. Over 73% of our clients say we make a large or extreme difference in their lives.

Thank you so much for helping the law belong to all of us!

Gala Highlights

Lynette and Daryias Mackey came on stage after their video played. After living in sewage for several days, Daryias was very happy to move out. Our Civil Litigation and Pro Bono team helped them secure clean, safe housing.
We celebrated 10 years of Virginia Taylor’s work! As one of the co-founders and the Director of Legal services, Virginia’s work has been significant in fighting poverty and helping thousands of clients.
The Daniels family shared their case story. After receiving an eviction notice at their grandmother’s funeral, our housing team helped them reach a life-changing settlement. Watch their video here.
Former housing client and artist Kieran Swan live painted a mural with our slogan: The Law Belongs to All of Us.
