I immigrated to the United States in order to escape domestic violence. Upon arriving here, I felt alone. I struggled to find any sort of help

Open Door Legal has become my family in the United States. My attorney, Fabiano, has helped me to gain a lot of confidence. I finally feel protected. My dream is to have my children and grandchildren here, to open a business, and when I am able to donate, to do that too. 

I would like other immigrants to feel like they can approach the law. Often, we do not come forward out of fear that we will have to pay a lot of money and that no one will be able to solve anything for us. We are frequently taken advantage of.
